Selena Gomez Inspired Make-Up Tutorial || KCA14

A few weeks ago the Kids Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles, and of course as I scanning photos of the orange carpet for make-up inspiration and even though Selena Gomez didn't walk the carpet she was there and she did pick up an award. I loved her make-up it was soft and dewy with gold eyeshadow and fluttery lashes along side a peachy pink cheek and lip. Here the products I used to recreate the look and how I did it...
Face -

Laura Mercier - Oil-Free Foundation Primer
Mac - Studio Sculpt Foundation
Benefit - High Beam Highlighter
Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer
Mac - Prep & Prime Highlighter in Radiant Rose
Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder
Nars - Laguna Bronzer
Benefit - Hoola Bronzer
Benefit - Coralista Blush

Eyes -

Mac - Painterly Paint Pot
Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette - Half Baked e/s
Mac - Wedge & Charcoal Brown Eyeshadow
Soap & Glory - Smoulder Kohl in Cocoa Bean
Maybelline - The Falsies Black Drama Mascara
The Vintage Cosmetic Company - Gracie False Eyelashes

Brows -

Mac - Omega & Charcoal Brown Eyeshadow
Maybelline - Brow Drama in Dark Brown

Lips -

Mac - Plink! Lipstick
Nyx - Mega Shine Lipgloss in Nude Pink

Face - Selenas skin is very tanned and dewy, sadly I am not tanned but I have made my foundation look dewy but mixing some high beam into my foundation - now don't go crazy with this stuff, a little goes a long way! She also has completely flawless skin so I am faking that by using a medium to full coverage foundation which is studio sculpt. I am then concealing any problem area with my beloved Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer. For under the eyes I am using two concealer so that I look really awake and so there is no discolouration. To set everything in place I am using a pressed powder but I am only use a little bit as I want to set the make-up but I want to keep the dewy effect. Selena doesn't have an intense contour but I defiantly want to add a bit to define my face so I am using Benefit - Hoola lightly along my cheekbones, temples and jawline. As Selena is looking very bronzed I am using Nars Laguna (which I recently review ) all around my face where I put the hoola and using whatever is left on my brush through the centre of my face to even the colour out. She has a muted coral pink on her cheeks but it defiantly has a sheen to it so I am using Benefit - Coralista which is the perfect blush with a bit more of high beam along my cheekbones and cupids bow to finish the look off.

Eyes- For a base I used Mac's Painterly Paint Pot, then using a mac #224 brush I used wedge as my transition colour in my crease. I used half baked e/s from urban decay 3/4 of the way across my lid and all around my eye. Selena defiantly went to town on the gold eyeshadow around the eye so don't be afraid just make sure to blend so it's not to harsh. You can't see Selena's eye make-up that well especially since she didn't walk the carpet but she defiantly had a darker colour in her outer crease. To darken the look I am using charcoal brown and blending it out. I am then put a thin line of brown pencil along my upper and lower lash line, not a lot but just enough to fill the space - I am only putting this about 3/4 of the way along my upper lash line as you can tell Selena doesn't have any liner in her inner corner. I am putting some mascara on my upper and lower lashes and then finishing the eyes of with some lashes that are full and gives the lashes both length and volume.

Brows - Selena has quite straight eyebrows and they're not overly groomed. I filled my eyebrows in with omega and then I used the darker colour charcoal brown on the outer part of my brows - using two colours makes it look more natural. I then sealed my brows in place with Maybelline - Brow Drama.

Lips - Selena kept her lips simple and glossy with just a light peachy pink lipstick - I used Plink! with is a seashell pink and its a lustre finish so its quite sheer. Her lips are also very glossy, I used Nyx mega shine lipgloss in nude pink which is really more of a peachy pink - which is the perfect colour for this look!

If you would like to see a photo of Selena at the kca's, there is one on my instagram (link in the sidebar or at bowsandbecki). I hope you enjoyed and if you would like me to re-create a specific look then you can comment below or tweet me @BowsBeautyB and I'll be happy to re-create! Thanks for Reading!

Nars - Laguna Bronzer || Review

Todays review is going to be on a cult classic and most beauty girls holy grail bronzer which is of course the Nars Laguna Bronzer - need I say more! This is one of those products that absolutely everybody raves about and I wanted to try it but at £27 I thought it was far to overpriced for a bronzer but once I finally took the plunge well safe to say I have used it everyday since and I am now going to rave about it!

This is by far the best all around bronzer that's on the market. It is a great colour for pale skin and tanned skin. I don't just use it on myself I also have one in my freelance kit and use it all the time on brides that want a natural bronzed look. Nars describe it as "Diffused powder with golden shimmer to create an all-over warmth and contour for the entire face. Bronzing Powder creates a natural looking glow which enhances or creates the look of tanned skin."

I like to use a fluffy brush and apply the product on my cheek bones, temples and lightly done the centre of my face. It gives you a bronzed healthy glow without looking orange! Famous for there sleek black packaging with white Nars logo on the front of the compacts. The compacts also have a mirror inside the compact with is a great size when your on the go. I will say the texture of the packaging is really smooth and soft but the material of it means that I gets dirty really easily and it is really difficult to clean. It is priced at £27.00 and is available from Nars and Space NK.

Pros: Great colour, Sleek slim packaging, works well with most skin colours including pale skin.

Cons: The material of the packaging gets very dirty looking and is hard to clean. Price - It is quite expensive for a bronzer but it really is worth it! Just depends how much your willing to spend.

As you can tell I absolutely love this bronzer and can't recommend it enough. Its so versatile as you don't just need to use it on your face its also a great colour for on your eyes if your wanting a bronzed eye look! Thanks for Reading

Have you tried Laguna? If so, do you love it?

Monthly Favourites | March

I haven't posted a monthly favourite post in quite a long while so of course that means that I have lots of products that I need to share with you because as a product junkie I think its only right for me to have a long list of current favourites and of course I need to share that all with you! Right?! This months favourites is a bit of a mixed bunch but surprise the majority of my favourites are makeup products! Shocking I know! Any way lets get into it...

Mac - Studio Sculpt Foundation | If you've read my blog for a while then you'll know I've used this foundation for years and stopped using it to try different foundations and then I re-found it and safe to say I still love it. It's a gel formulation and it is defiantly a medium to full coverage but more on the full. But you can always mixed it with different foundations or into your moisturiser and it doing this makes it more sheer and wearable for day to day wear.

Rimmel - Match Perfection Foundation | This is defiantly one of the best foundations on the market for the high-street and I would happily wear this on a daily basis but sadly this colour which is the lightest is too pink and warm for my skin. If it was more cool toned it would be perfect. But I've been mixing it into my studio sculpt and it gives me a great colour, coverage and overall look. I need to remember to pick my right shade up next time I'm in Boots!

Nars - Laguna Bronzer | I finally got this at the end of January (I know perfect time to get a bronzer, right!?) And I have too agree with everybody that has ever tried this - it really does deserve all the hype that's around it! Without being dramatic - its the best bronzer that has ever been! Enough said.

Laura Mercier - Matte Radiance Baked Powder in 01 Highlight | If your looking for a powder highlight that isn't to shimmery and overpowering then you'll love this! Its the perfect neutral shade - not to warm or cool toned, the perfect in-between shade. It is also a great all over the lid colour!

Mac - Powder Blush in Well Dressed & Pinch O'Peach | These separately are both gorgeous colour but I find Well Dressed can wash me out more than what I already am and Pinch O'Peach is a big to bright and matt for my liking - but mix them together and you get the perfect blush colour. It's seriously the only colour I have been wearing on my cheeks for months!

Mac - Painterly Paint Pot | If you want to own one base for your eyeshadow, that goes with all looks - for both day and night looks, then this is your base. Its a great colour and you can also use it by itself. I will say my eyeshadow has stayed on all day and it hasn't creased but I can go without a base on for my eyeshadow and they will last but it really depends  on the person - but your eyeshadow will stay on as I use them in my freelance kit and would be lost without them.

Mac - Chatterbox Lipstick | I have always been a nude lip kind of gal but as of the last two months I have been trying brighter colours - nothing to crazy but my favourite had been chatterbox from mac which is described on the mac website as a "bright red-pink" but I wouldn't agree with that. Its a mid toned pink not light but it also isn't a vivid neon shade. Its also very wearable for everyday if paired with very simple neutral make-up.

Nyx - Mega Shine Lipgloss in Nude Pink | As I said I was getting into brighter shades of lipstick, I have also been getting into lipgloss as its spring and I like a natural and quick look to do in the morning. Nyx really need help to pick the names of there glosses because this is by no far a nude pink much more of a light coral peach. With happens to be the best colour for this time of the year. Does anyone else think these glosses smell like bubblegum?

Models Own - Northern Lights Glitter Nail Polish | I tend to forget about this nail polish as it falls down to the bottom of my glitter nail polish jar. Its a nice colour as long as you have longer nails. It is also a nice colour for an accent nail.

Neutragena - Hand Cream | The past month I have had a massive problem with dry hands, the have been so sore and dry that the skin around my knuckles have been cracking and bleeding - not exactly ideal. All my usual hand cream have been to sore to use as they sting to much but as this has no fragrance its been perfect and its gotten my hand back to the way they should be!

TRESemme - Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo | All us long hair gals need to have a good dry shampoo in our life without it half our day would be trapped indoors washing, drying and styling our long Rapunzel like mane. But with it a quick few sprays and a few minutes later were good to go. This is by far the best one out there, I have tried a lot in my time of dry shampoos and this is the best one by far. I have used this since the begging of last summer and I constantly use it and need a new bottle.

If you read my last "What's on my Face" post you will know this year has been a bit of a crazy to say the least with my dad being really badly ill and then training to become a fully qualified make-up artist and then last Sunday (30th March) I finally qualified! It feels amazing to finally qualify, I've wanted it for such a long time and still has quite set in yet! I also just re-re-designed my blog, now that I know how to do it I am constantly wanting to change it up! What do you think? Do you like the new look? I also am going to start doing more make-up tutorials so if there is any looks you would like me to do then please send them to me either in the comments below or on twitter (@BowsBeautyB)!

What's your March favourites?

Spring Nails // My Five Favourite Spring Nail Polishes

Spring time has arrived!!! Hooray! I'm sure I'm not the only one that is happy about this, Spring is defiantly one of my favourite seasons - its the perfect time between winter and summer not to cold or to hot. It is also the time when you can go all out with pastel colours whether its with clothing, nails or even home décor. Today I am going to share with you my top five favourite spring nail polishes, of course you can expect to see lots of pastel colours from peaches, pinks, lilacs and mint colours and I've also added in a bright pink to brighten things up.

Revlon - Scented Nail Polish - 345 Peach Smoothie

This is a gorgeous peach colour that has a little bit of glitter/ shimmer going through it, which at first you can't really notice but when it hits the light or if you look closely it gives your nails a lovely sheen. It is scented to smell like peaches but I have to say I'm not a massive fan of the whole scented nail polish thing!

Revlon - Colourstay Longwear Nail Enamel - 060 Café Pink

If your looking for a light pink that isn't to pale or to neon then this is the colour for you. Its the perfect mid-toned pink and the formulation is quite similar to gel polishes meaning it does last quite well on the nails had has a nice hi-shine glossy finish.

Essie - Nail Polish - Off The Shoulder

Personally I much prefer softer colours and don't often go for bright colours in anything. But this is a toned done bright pink (make sense?). Basically its a gorgeous brighter pink that isn't neon. But sadly it is discontinued and I don't think you can get it any where but of course Essie do about 20 different shades of pink so you should find a pink that suits you!

OPI - Nail Polish - Lucky Lucky Lavender

This is a colour that I fall back on when I don't know what colour to use. It's a lavender lilac, I will say that it is a nice shade but I have seen other lilacs that I personally prefer but this is just as nice.

Rimmel - Salon Pro Nail Polish - 500 Peppermint

This is most definitely a colour that I neglected a lot, in fact I have only used it a few times but hopefully as spring goes on I will get many chances to wear it. Even though mint blue is one of my favourite colours I find when its on my nails it just doesn't go well with outfits like the other nail colours.

I hope you enjoyed this post and hopefully it gave you some ideas for nail colours in the spring time. If you have any recommendations for nail polishes that I should get for spring time I would love to know and give them a try!

What's your favourite spring nail polishes?

What's on my Face #4 // Simple Eyes and Bright Lips

I've always loved all colours of lipstick from the perfect nude to a crisp red lip and everything in-between but never felt confident until recently to wear bright bold colours myself. Recently I have fallen in love with Mac's lipstick in Chatterbox it's the perfect pink - not at all pale or nude but its also not too bright and in your face, its in the middle ground! I love to pair a brighter lip with a really simple eye look sometime just a light eyeshadow all over my lid and some mascara. I have also found it is much quicker to through on a bright lip than doing a 3 point smokey eye! Here's my new favourite look...

Face -

Nars - Sheer Glow Foundation - Mont Blanc
Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer - 1 Fair
Rimmel - Stay Matte Powder - 003 Sandstorm
Nars - Laguna Bronzer
Mac - Pinch O'Peaches and Well Dressed Blush
Laura Mercier - Matte Radiance Baked Powder - 01 Highlight

Eyes -

Mac - Ricepaper Eyeshadow
Maybelline - Eye Studio Gel Liner - 01 Black
Maybelline - The Falsies Mascara
Mac - Charcoal Brown Eyeshadow (brows)
Maybelline - Brow Drama in Dark Brown

Lips -

Mac - Chatterbox Lipstick

I have been trying Nars Sheer Glow recently as I got 2 bottles for my freelance kit and wanted to play about with it so I can get a feel for it and figure out how it works but I just can't seem to love it as much as I want to! Half way through the day it goes patchy and just doesn't sit right on my skin - if you have this can you please help me out and tell me how you work with it! I have also been mixing colours recently and my favourite blush has been Pinch O'Peaches and Well Dressed both by mac it creates the perfect colour and has been the only blush I have worn for the last month - there defiantly going to be in my monthly favourites! As I said earlier I have fallen in love with Chatterbox lipstick from mac, I have always loved mac lipsticks they are my favourite overall lipstick and also go for them but this is one I got free with the back to mac programme and forgot about. It has been sitting in my lipstick drawer for a few months just sitting there and now it is constantly being used. It will most likely be completely used up before the beginning of summer and I'll of course have to get another one for summer as it is a perfect summer colour!

Your probably wondering where I've been for the last month and to be honest I've been wondering the same thing! The month of February has defiantly been a roller-coaster that had its down more than ups, sadly. I as you may know am training to become a fully qualified make-up artist and I am qualified! I haven't finish my course yet still got a little bit to go but I am qualified - woohoo!!! Along with qualifying also means I am starting up my own business which takes a lot of time, much more than you'd expect. But as for the downs my dad was seriously unwell in hospital, one of my dogs needed to have her ear cut out and has stitches all over it. So as you can tell I have had a crazy month and well March has just flown back and don't really know what I've done!  I have been really wanting to blog for so long but just haven't had the time or the words to be honest! I am looking forward to getting back to blogging and have lots of post coming your way and I'm looking forward to getting back to my 3 posts a week (Monday, Wednesday & Saturday.) I am going to be doing a lot more make-up tutorial type of posts as that is where my true passion lies hopefully at least 1-2 a week! If you have any requests for types of looks you would like me to create or re-create please let me know in the comments or on twitter ( @BowsBeautyB )

I hope you enjoyed this post and I am glad to be back blogging! I also hope you liked this make-up that I did. And also let me know what type of posts you would like to see! Thanks for Reading!

What type of make-up do you like?

What's on my Face #3 // Simple Eyes & Coral Lips

I am coming to you today with another "What's on my Face" post I started these at the end of last summer and keep planning on doing them, I even begin writing them but never finish! I am trying to get back to what kind of posts I love to do and since this I am a total make-up geek naturally I love showing you what make-up I'm loving and wearing.

MAC - Face & Body Foundation
MAC - Studio Finish Concealer
Rimmel - Stay Matte Powder
Nars - Laguna Bronzer
Benefit - Coralista
Laura Mercier - Radiance Baked Powder - Highlight 01

Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette - Foxy & Tease
Maybelline - Eye Studio Gel Liner - 01 Black
Maybelline - The Falsies Black Drama Mascara

YSL - Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 13 Peach Passion

Most of these products are my must have products and some of them I have been using for years. Face & Body foundation is really quite amazing! You have to try it, after the first use you will use it forever (on and off of course as we can't leave the other foundations lying in our beauty drawers!) Defiantly the most versatile foundation out there! Nars Laguna is a new addition and it defiantly is as good as every one says it is! For my eyes I kept it very simple with foxy all over my eyelid and I've also used it as my brow bone highlight, for definition in my crease I used tease - which I also used it on my lower lash line. And you can't forget the gel liner and mascara to make your lashes stand out. For my peachy coral lips I used my favourite YSL - Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Peach Passion, I love this colour it is perfect for spring and summer - which it is in my head even though it really isn't!

I also have to add that, you may notice that my blog has had a little bit of a make-over! I have had about five makeover of my blogs that I've had. Three on this one alone! What can I say I get board easily and we'll I've never totally loved everything about my blog. So I took it on my self and did the entire thing - even the coding all by myself. I have to say I really am proud of myself and what I've created and I suppose the saying is true - If you want something done right, do it yourself! I'd love to know what you think of my new design!

Do you like any of the products I used?

What's in my Handbag // Warehouse Padlock Handbag

Is it just me or can you also make out a face on pretty much anything!?

Recently I got a new handbag, so naturally I have to do an updated What's in my handbag post! I mainly use my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag as it's my baby - I did a post on it when I first got it last summer! Recently I have started my pro make-up course which means every Sunday I have an hour train journey each way, a bit of walking back and forth and a lot of stuff to carry and my Marc Jacobs bag just isn't big enough, it is also very open so when I am going on the train and walking around busy city centres I just don't feel like it is very safe for it to be totally open. This warehouse bag however is structured without being really bulky like the Zara City Office Bag aka The Blogger Bag which I actually have only used maybe three times because it's too big and I kept knocking into things! (I am also thinking of selling it if anybody if interested, I did a post here if you want to see what it's like.) Anyway enough rambling, so it's structured so you can fit everything in like a game of Tetris, it is zipped at the top so completely secure it also doesn't look really cheap which some chain store bags can look - the material and the finishing of the bag is absolutely perfect. Here is what is typically in my bag:

Phone
Headphones
Lip Products (balm, lipstick & gloss)
Hair Bobble & Bobby Pins
Bottle of juice
Purse
Glasses
Snacks
Umbrella
Notebook & Pen
Hair Brush
Make-Up Bag

That may seem like a lot but it really isn't especially on a Sunday when I take two bottles of juice, my lunch, a brush roll and a really thin textbook on top of what I normally carry!  And if you haven't realised by now I am defiantly somebody that has to be prepared and organised no matter where I am!

I hope you've enjoyed this post! And if your reading this you are most likely like me and love having a nose at what other people carry around with them, I think it can be quite interesting to see the weird and wonderful things we carry about it our very heavy handbags!
What are your necessities in your handbag?

New Relases // Tanya Burr by eye Candy

I'm sure you are all going to be aware of the newest make-up line out which of course is coming from the gorgeous Tanya Burr by eye Candy or what it's been known as since the beginning of December #tanyaburrlipsandnails - I'm sure we have all used that hashtag at least once! The line includes 12 lip-glosses and 10 nail polishes. There are colours for everybody from the classic nudes, bold bright or vampy reds there really is a shade for everyone and that perfect shade (or shades plural in my case!) comes with a super cute name. You can tell that Tanya and everyone she has worked with really have thought about the products and they really are personal to her, just have a glance at the names of the items and you will know that Tanya really has names the products after her favourite things!

The Lip-glosses are priced at £6.99 and come in two different finishes which are crème and shimmer. Each lip-gloss has a doe-foot applicator and are designed to have a long lasting shine. The Colours are:

The Nail Polishes are priced at £5.99, the colours are of course stunning as you would expect just like the adorable name. There is a colour for everyone from baby pinks, bright corals and deep reds. The nail polish bottles are square in shape and have Tanya's logo on the front of the bottle, they also hold 12ml of product which is pretty average for a nail polish. They are also meant to be long-wearing, chip resistant and non-fading which a high shine finish which ticks every box for me! The Colours are:

Mini Marshmallows
Peaches & Cream
Bright and Early
Be Bright, Be Happy
Little Duck
Mischief Managed
Riding Hood
New York Night
Midnight Sparkles
Penguin Chic

You can currently get the lip-glosses and nail polishes at Feel Unique, which also has free international shipping! They are also going to be available in store soon but it hasn't been announced where yet (most likely Boots or Superdrug). I haven't had a chance to order mine yet but I defiantly know what I am wanting to get, and that leaves little left! I feel so proud and happy for Tanya, I have been watching her videos for years and years - and it's so amazing to see how she's grown and how much she's achieved! I can't wait to see what else Tanya has got in store for us and I can't wait to get my hands on everything!

Maybelline - The Falsies Black Drama Mascara // Review

We are all after long flutters lashes and to be honest we all need a good mascara that gives out lashes volume and length that actually stays on your lashes and doesn't end up down your face! I have tried many mascaras in my time in fact within the last few months I've bought three different Maybelline mascaras just because it need to try them all and they all do such different jobs! I'm sure you have all heard of The Falsies by Maybelline it is spoken of quite highly from  lots of bloggers and I've defiantly joined the Maybelline The Falsies fan club without a doubt! In this photo I only have mascara on no other make-up, not even concealer or foundation just so you can get a good idea of what the mascara actually looks like. I have however curled my eyelashes as I refuse to put mascara on un-curled lashes!

Maybelline says: "False lash glam with a flare, instantly! Patented Spoon Curler Brush fans out lashes from corner-to-corner, while our Pro-Keratin formula instantly builds volume without clumping. Unique flexible wand lifts and separates lashes to provide the look of 300% more visible, lashes." I defiantly agree that it goes corner to corner, it's really easy to get the corner lashes.

The packaging is similar to most of the Maybelline mascaras with the curved top and bottom, and since this is the black drama version it has the black lace print at the top. As I mentioned above the wand is curved with helps to catch all lashes and give them extra volume, it also makes it easy to do your bottom lashes without making them clump together. It is priced at £7.99 available at Boots, as well as Superdrug.

Overall I absolutely love this mascara, I have a natural love for Maybelline mascaras as I have tried the majority of them and have loved all the ones I have tried. This is however one of my favourites as that they do. I would say its the mascara between the mega plush mascara and the rocket volume mascara (both by Maybelline) as it gives the length the mega plush gives you get it still gives volume similar to the rocket volume. If you have tried all three you will totally understand what I mean. I would defiantly recommend this mascara weather you have tried almost every mascara out there or your new to make-up it's a must to your collection and you have to give it a try!

Have you tried The Falsies?

My Wishlist #5 // New Year, New Wardobe

I have been wanting to re-vamp my wardrobe for months now, but I've been on a saving spree therefore I haven't been buying much let along new clothes. I am now however in despite need of new clothes. So whist I am scanning my favourite shops - online first though do you do that as well look online and then go in store to get it? I rarely order clothes online as they often look nicer online than in person. Anyway I thought I would share with you the items that I am thinking of getting and you can share your opinion of what I might/ hope to get.

1, River Island - Cream V Neck Cami Top // A theme your going to see in this post is basic items that I can pair with both jeans and skirts and can be dressed down and dressed up. I think this is something that could go with quite a lot and it's only £12!

2, River Island - Light Pink Raglan Sleeve T-Shirt // Again something that is really versatile and could look cute with both jeans and skirts. I also love the colour of it.

3, Warehouse - Jacquard Jewel Neckline Tee // This is something that isn't like me to wear with the jewelled neckline, not because I don't like them just because I have never owned them before. I think this would look really nice tucked into a black skirt and maybe even a pair of black skinny jeans.

4, Topshop - Black Gathered Circle Skirt // I have been after a black skirt that can be you guessed it dressed up and down so that I can get a lot of use out of it. I haven't seen it in person yet but I hope its fits nicely.

5, Topshop - Black Crepe Pencil Skirt // This is purely for when I need to be more dressy and be more formal. This looks like it is exactly what I'm after.

6, Topshop - Black Leigh Skinny Jeans // I have a blue version of these jeans they are so soft and comfy but still look great on. I am despite for a pair of these and will defiantly be picking these up very soon!

7, Warehouse - Spare Box Chain Statement Necklace // Again I have wanted to get some statement necklaces for some months but haven't seen what I really love but this one I really love - hopefully it looks as nice in person!

8, Next - Natural Skinny Strap Watch // I am in despite need for the a watch, I have teeny tiny wrists and your typical watch will fall of my arm! I haven't owned a watch for about 3 years since my last one broke because I can't find any that I like or that fit me. Because the strap is material and skinny it should fit me - we'll just have to wait and see!

9, Warehouse - Zip Front Padlock Shopper // I love the look of my Zara City Shopper bag and totally love the idea of it but I find it really bulky and wide and I get flustered really easy especially when out and about and when a bag had a small handle and didn't consider it. This is very similar but is more open and has a bigger handle! I have only seen it in person in tan but they do have it in black and black is defiantly more practical.

I hope you enjoyed this, I spend far to much time online browsing and well this is my way of justify those countless hours! I have however got a few years for wanting these new clothes like starting my make-up course and starting my freelance career as well as I haven't had new clothes for many many months!!

Do you like any of the items I've featured?

Inspirational Sundays #2

Towards the end of December I started a new little series I like to call "Inspirational Sundays". This is basically a little segment where I like to share with you my favourite quotes that will normally relate to how I feel at that time or quotes/ sayings that I think might inspire/ motivate you. I am assuming if your still reading this that you'll enjoy reading quotes and sayings and so your probably much like me and can spend countless hours searching places like pinterest and we heart it for nice pictures and quotes. Todays quote I think goes quite well with the new year and what a lot of people have at this time of the year - new outlook. Feeling like if you put your mind to something then you can achieve it and really setting goals to try and reach your dream.

"Go Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams live the life you've imagined" - I think this is so true sometimes you get stick in day to day life and get forget about the big picture and get caught up with the small things. It's normal to get caught up with the small trivial things that at the time seem like the biggest deal - but remember that they not and we just have to brush them off and keep moving.

This time last year I plucked up the courage to leave a job that I was amazing at but hated it and knew it wasn't were I wanted to go! So I quit everybody there hated working there even if they liked the profession and always said that they were going to leave but months and months past and nobody ever did. Since I actually live minutes away from my old workplace (convent at the time know just very annoying!) I walked across on my day of and handed my notice in - I have never felt so happy and confident and walked out with my head held high in fact I looked like the Cheshire Cat with a grin from ear to ear. Basically what I'm trying to say if don't just keeping going with something you don't like, go in the direction that makes you happy and makes your dreams life.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it was somewhat helpful. I hope we all can turn our dreams into reality even if it's not today but with time and hard work our dreams with come true we just have to - go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you've imagined.

Are you living/ trying to live your dreams?

My 2013 Favourites // Beauty Edit

I have a rather exciting post today but I do warn you it is defiantly without a chance going to be a long one! I'm going to share with you my favourites items for the entire year of 2013 from skin care, nails & make-up. I was going to share with you my fashion favourites but I didn't think that was going to be very exciting and I think my beauty favourites are going to be long enough but if you would like to see fashion favourites and my other favourites like movies, music and tv - let just let me know and I'll be happy to do them for you! Any way lets get into my beauty favourites ...

Beauty -

Skin Care

Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser, Bioderma - Sensibio H20 Cleansing Water, First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Cream, Blistex - Intensive Moisturiser.

I have mentioned in a few posts that in the last year my skin has really broken out and I have had acne. In my recent Skin Care Routine - Link Here, I mentioned the products that have helped to treat it and heal it. I have also had really chapped lips so the Blistex Intensive Moisturiser was a god send to my sore chapped lips!

Body Care

Soap & Glory - Clean On Me Creamy Shower Gel,  Soap & Glory - The Righteous Butter, The Body Shop - Cranberry Joy Body Butter.

I haven't got many body care favourites as I neglected using them to be honest! I normally don't have time to but body moisturiser/ butter on after a shower as I typically an running late and don't have time for it but I'm defiantly going to try more this year!

Fragrance

Ted Baker - Butterfly Body Spray, Giorgio Armani - Armani Code.

Ted Baker is my everyday scent as it's light and fresh also it's cheap! And Giorgio Armani is what I normally wear when I'm going out or somewhere nice.

Hair

Denmark - Tangle Tamer Hairbrush, TRESemme - Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo, Bed Head - Hard Head Hairspray.

This year I have really learnt a lot when it comes it hair. I used to just have it straight but now its rarely straight and is mostly curled or wavy. I have also learnt how to put my hair in nice ponytails, messy buns and different types of braids! These are just a few products that I have really loved this year I have especially loved TRESemme Dry shampoo even if my hairs not greasy I use it for volume also the Bed Head hairspray keeps my curls in for days!

Nails

Essie - Fiji, OPI - Lucky Lucky Lavender, Essie - Off The Shoulder, OPI - I'm All Ears, Rimmel - Space Dusts in Aurora & Moon Walking, Essie - Bahama Mama, Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat.

These are just a few of my favourite nail polishes! I defiantly loved have my nails painted in fact I think there was only a few times where my nails were done. Essie Fiji was by far my favourite polish it I think it shows that I've used the entire bottle up in about 3 months! I have a post about this polish here! Also I cant recommend the Seche Vite top coat enough it really does dry your nails in minutes!

Make-Up

MAC - Fix+, MAC - Studio Sculpt Foundation, Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation, Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer, MAC - Studio Finish Concealer, Rimmel - Stay Matte Powder, MAC - Well Dressed Blush, Benefit - Coralista, Benefit - Hoola, Bourjois - Bronzing Powder - 51, Elf - Golden Bronzer in Golden .

If your a make-up junkie like myself then you'll be able to imagine what it was like to try an narrow down all my make-up goodies! I have kept it pretty simple and if you look back over my posts you'll be able to see most of these products featured. I really love the look of perfect skin from the base all the way to contour, blush and high light - these are the products that I use mostly to create this look!

Urban Decay - Naked 2, MAC - Eye Shadows in Naked Lunch, Rice Paper, All That Glitters, Charcoal Brown, Satin Taupe & Sketch, Maybelline - Brow Drama in Dark Brown, Soap & Glory - Super Cat Liquid Liner, Maybelline - Eye Studio Gel Liner in 01 Black, Maybelline - Mega Plush Mascara, Maybelline - Volume Express Mascara.

I am an eye shadow girl through and though and through so the amount of eye  shadows I've picked is limited, those are my most used mac shades which are my all time favourite and my favourite shades from my naked 2 palette would have to be foxy, bootycall, half baked & tease. I have also found the Maybelline gel liner and well can't believe how good it is - even better than my mac fluidline!

Maybelline - Baby Lips in Intense Care, Peach Kiss & Pink Punch, MAC - Lipstick in Shy Girl, Plink!, Crème Cup & Angel, YSL - Rouge Volupte Shine in 13 Peach Passion, MAC - Crème Sheen Glass in Boy Bait.

I have waited for the famous baby lips to come out for what felt like years (well it was but still!) And I haven't been disappointed - to read my full thoughts on the baby lips I did an in depth review - right here! I have also fallen in love even more with lipsticks, if that was at all possible - especially MAC lipsticks. I have done a few posts on them like Plink!, Creme Cup. I have also loved the gorgeous YSL lipstick which I have also reviewed, right here!

Tools

Tweezerman - Mini Slant Tweezers, Real Techniques - Core Collection, Starter Set, Expert Face Brush & Blush Brush, MAC - #. 224

I haven't pictured all the brushes as that's a lot of brushes! But if you want to see full pictures I have two detailed post that you can see all about my favourite tools - My Ten Most Used Beauty Tools and Real Techniquies Review // My Collection.

I hoped you enjoyed this post, it was both fun and challenging trying to try and narrow my favourites down! I am really looking forward to the new year, I also have a list of products that I've wanted for quite sometime that I'm going to get over the next few months!
