My Current Skin Care and No7 Beautiful Skin Range!

To find the best skin care routine for your skin can be very difficult with so many products on the market claiming to do different and amazing things. I have dry to normal skin so I like a think moisturiser as I fell my skin feels nicer and looks healthier with a thicker moisturiser. I could defiantly still perfect my skin care routine but for now I am happy to follow this and use these products as they do work, but I think there is probably better products out there. Most of the products that I currently use are from the skincare and cosmetic line from boots called No7 and they have recently designed a new skincare range called Beautiful Skin. I am now going to quickly explain the new line for you, so whatever skin type you are the next part will be great for you!

The range is coloured coded for different skin types and within the skin types there is different products for those skin types:

Dry / Very Dry - Light Purple

Normal / Dry - Light Pink

Normal / Oily - Light Green

Dry / Very Dry Skin

There is 4 products for this skin type and they are:

No7 Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleaning Balm

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream

No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream

Normal / Dry Skin

There is 5 products for this skin type and they are:

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion

No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser

No7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream

No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream

Normal / Oily Skin

There are 6 products for this skin type in the range and they are:

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Water

No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser

No7 Beautiful Skin Purifing Exfoliator

No7 Beautiful Skin Purifing Mask

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream

No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream

The ranges prices are very reasonable between £8 and £13.50, and it's great to stock up on my favourite skincare products with the £5 off No7 vouchers which boots are giving out regularly. Now I'll tell you about the products I use and explain how I use them. Click Here for a link to the range!

My Current Skin Care

As I said I have dry to normal skin, I can be quite lazy just want to remove my make-up with a face wipe and not be bothered to do this as it can take a lot longer than just taking it all of with a wipe, I also prefer to take my eye make-up off with Mac Pro Eye Make-Up Remover but as I ran out of that I started to try different one but I definitely prefer a water based eye make-up remover to a cream eye make-up remover.

1, Taking my face make-up off. I rub No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm all over my face leave it for about 40 seconds then take it off with a cotton pad.

2, Taking my eye make-up off. I put a large pea sized of Simple Nourishing Eye Make-Up Remover Cream on the back of my hand then dab a new cotton wool pad into it and wipe across my eye lid and along my lashes.

3, Now for moisturiser, I like to use a thick moisturiser as I feel for dry skin its better. I like the No7 Beautiful Skin Day Moisturiser I like this because it is thick and It makes my skin feel really nice and soft! I dab this over my face and rub it into my skin and down my neck.

4, I now take action to any spots, I have been recently been testing out new spot treatments. I don't have ance prone skin but I tend to get a spot that stays for weeks, it doesn't move and nothing not even a full coverage mac concealer with cover it completely. But I have found that No7 Beautiful Skin Rapid Spot Rescue has been working well so far! But I'll do a full review on it in a few weeks when I've had a full chance to test it out as I have only had it a week and not had any spot problems!

Have you tried any of the products from the No7 Beautiful Skin Range? If so, let me know in the comments! I'd love to know.

Shop and Shop - Real Techniques

I am very excited to get these as I wanted to test them out before I get them to put in my kit, as I am going to be going on a make-up course soon! And I've heard great things about all of the Real Techniques brushes.

Core Collection

This is all you really need to do your face make-up and it's a great price at only £21.99 for four good quality brushes. The core collection includes:

Detailer Brush:

This is the smallest brush and would be great for applying concealer on blemishes.

Pointed Foundation Brush:

I personally think this brush is far to small to apply foundation but is the perfect size for under eye concealer.

Buffing Brush:

This brush is so soft! And can't wait to try this with my foundation, I think it will be great.

Contour Brush:

This as it suggests will be great for contouring and for applying blush.

The brushes come in a black case with individual holders and all brushes have taklon bristles which make the brushes so soft!

Starter Kit

The starter kit also contains all you really need for doing your eyes. The kit contains five brushes and also comes in a black case, all five brushes also have talkon bristles and was also £21.99.

Brow Brush:

The angled brush has dense bristles, which will be great for filling in eye brows.

Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush:

I have never used this type of brush to apply eyeliner, I have only ever used an angled brush. So I look forward to seeing how I get on with it.

Accent Brush:

This is a very small brush so is an ideal size for highlighting or smudging eyeliner.

Deluxe Crease Brush:

This crease brush is quite big so it would be easy to blend shadows together.

Base Shadow Brush:

As the title says to apply base shadows across yor eye lids.

Have you got any Real Technique brushes? If so I would love to hear about your thoughts in the comments below!

Make-up Tutorial - My EyeBrows

I love to fill my brows in, it's a cruel part of my make-up on a daily basis. Like most people my eyebrows aren't the same shape exactly, I prefer to blame my sister for this when she attacked me with a pair of tweezers and most of the hairs she took out have never grown back and she cut one of my brows. Anyway I tweeze them myself with my beloved tweezerman mini slant tweezers with bumble bees on them!

I have tried quite a few different products to fill them in but I always go back to the Sleek palette in Storm, I use the medium brown on the bottom row, second last.

I like to use my Mac #266 angled brush as it gives good control and I just love it.

I then either use a plain mascara wand just to shape them or I will use clear mascara like MUA Clear Mascara which is only £1 and does the job, only problem is that it is a clear tube and it does get a bit disgusting!

I then use my YSL Touche Eclat under my eye brows for a highlight. I like it as it is natural but looks amazing.

Its very easy all you need to do it use a light hand because it is easier to add more product than try to take away, and follow the natural shape of your brows.

Shop & Show - Urban Decay

Look what just came in the post! So I recently ran out of my Urban Decay Primer Potion so I went online to buy a new one when I started looking at Urban Decay Palettes! (Trust me to divert my attention!) Anyway I seen a very good deal, either I get a normal sized primer potion for £14.50 or I spend £3.50 extra (not including postage) for 6 eye shadows, a mini eyeliner and a mini primer potion, I thought it was a great deal?! Want to see what it look like? Scroll down!

Urban Decay - The Feminine Palette

The palette include a mini eye shadow primer in Eden, I have never tried Eden I have only ever had the Original version but I can't imagine there being much difference ... Right?

It also comes with a mini eye liner in zero, I swatched this on my hand and it feels so creamy I can't wait to try it out!

I am now going top show you the six pigmented eye shadows individually.

Stray Dog is a mid brown with metallic flex through it.

Swf is a light to mid pink with small chunks of glitter through it

Midnight Cowboy is a light brown but sadly it's got big chunks of glitter in it!

Aquarius is a beautiful aqua blue/ turquoise unfortunately the camera isn't picking the colour up!

Dark Horse is a dark brown with small flex of glitter.

Ecstasy is a lilac / light purple which is beautiful (when swatched!)

Have you ever tried this Urban Decay palette? If so let me know how you find it!
